The car you use for test

Your car must comply with the current regulations, be properly insured and taxed. In addition, an extra rear view mirror must be fitted for the examiner's use.

If you hold a provisional licence you must also have clearly displayed regulation 'L' plate showing to the front and rear (not required if you have a valid international licence).

It's a good idea to have spare light and indicator bulbs, if these should fail your test will not continue and you will lose your fee.
