All weather driving

Wherever possible, you should gain practical experience driving in varying weather conditions. If this is not possible during your Pass-Plus course (for example driving in snow) it is a good idea to take extra driver training at the onset of winter.

If you get the opportunity, you should also take a full skid control course (using specialised vehicles and facilities).

This module of the Pass-Plus course will consider:

	Rain
	Sleet, snow and ice
	Mist and fog
	Bright sunlight
	The cause and correction of skids
	Aquaplaning
	Dealing with poor road surfaces
