What is Pass-Plus?

Statistics show that the risk of having an accident is highest during the first years of driving after passing the driving test … This is why the Government launched the Pass-Plus scheme.

The Pass-Plus scheme, backed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and major motor insurance companies is designed to help newly qualified drivers gain more experience and become better equipped for the demands of modern driving.

Since its launch, the Pass-Plus scheme has been steadily increasing in popularity as more new drivers recognise the benefits.

Obviously, anyone can take a better driving course at any time, but because Pass-Plus is aimed specifically at the new driver, the course must be taken within twelve months of passing your driving test to qualify for the insurance benefits.
