Test requirements
The vehicle check questions were introduced in September 2003 to ensure that all test candidates understand basic car care. You will be asked a couple of questions about the operation and maintenance of your test vehicle.
One question requires you to show the examiner how to carry out a safety/maintenance check. The other question will require you to explain how a specific safety/maintenance check is done.
